This is official description
VideoInspector helps you to find out why some video files don't work correctly on your system (no sound, no video). It identifies the codec (coder-decoder like DivX) required to play a specific file. VideoInspector can also list all the codecs installed on your system, burn your video files on a CD/DVD (requires VSO's CopyToDVD), export the result in a text or HTML file, and process multiple files at the same time (batch processing).
The following review written by one of the Software Informer contributors applies to version 1.1

If you have got videos on your computer and you don't know why they won't run or you can't listen to the audio, this program will let you know why that is happening.
